New Blog Adventure

I'm soooooo excited to announce that I'll be starting my next blogging adventure!!!  I have convinced a "newbie" teacher at my school -Stephanie Araujo to join me in my blogging!

So we have just started a new blog called A Tale of Two K Teachers!!!  Unfortunately I can't bring you all with me. :( So please hop on over and connect with us there.

She is an AMAZING Kindergarten teacher and I'm so blessed to have her on my Kinder Team!  She has inspired me to make incredible products for my classroom and for TpT!

I'm hoping to have my 200 TpT Follower in the coming weeks so make sure you follow us so you can get all the details!

Thanks so much,

Soooo much has been going on. . .

I know I've been majorly slacking on my blog. :(  But there has been a ton going on.  Here are a few things that we have been working on in my classroom.

Word Families!  I made this cute product for my kids to learn about word FAMILIES.  This past week I was introducing it and they were working on sorting the -at and -ap families.  There are recording sheets for them to write the words and draw pictures if possible.  Click the picture to go to my TpT store to get more details.

ANTS!!!!  For the month of May we are learning ALL about Ants!!!  They are pretty neat to watch inside their little farm.  This was a picture taken after a few days.  They are hard workers!

I made a whole bunch of my math and literacy stations have an Ant Theme.  Here students are measuring fruits with different ant sticks.

They are also revisiting time and money!

We are also doing an ABC Countdown to Summer!  I purchased this from Live, Laugh, Love Kindergarten
The kids brought stuffed Animals, we've played with bubbles and had a fun afternoon using chalk outside!

Hopefully these next 4 weeks go by super fast!!!

Shane and Charlie - 2 of the "H" brothers

We have been working on the digraphs SH and CH the past couple of weeks and so today we made 2 of the 4 "H" brothers Shane and Charlie!

The kids did a fantastic job whispering and saying Sh, sh, sh while making Shane!

They definitely had a lot more fun making train noises (the rest of the day) and learning about Crazy Charlie!

Next week we will be finishing up the other two brother Theo and Whitaker!  I'm sure they will love them just as much!

I have put all the tracers and step by steps directions in my TpT store if you are interested.

Don't forget to enter my 100 Follower Giveaway - only a few days left!!!
